‘POP ART LAB’ is a fully immersive environment within SECOND LIFE streaming the latest, full length CD releases 24/7. Pop, rock, electronica and hip hop recordings performed by world famous acts are played via the 4 futuristic listening domes, set in a sociable and futuristic sim. We also work in partnership with Treet.TV by broadcasting live music and interviews with SL and RL artists across the metaverse. Our main objective is to encourage real world record labels, musicians and media companies to use SL as a viable ‘performance venue’ allowing them to reach a global and interactive audience instantly. With over 25,000 visitors and 8 successful TV shows since September 2008, ‘POP ART LAB’ really is the sound of the future.
